This replacement motor kit (Part #880326A) provides the parts needed to rebuild the motor on the Kirby Avalir Platinum. The kit includes the armature, the field coil, and two carbon brushes for a complete motor overhaul.

This motor kit is also the full replacement kit for Gen 3 models through the Avalir II series as the new armature is NOT compatible with the older motor style and the old armature has been discontinued (114789), (880326A).

When a Kirby motor loses suction, overheats, or fails outright, worn brushes and a tired armature are common causes. Rebuilding with a matched armature, field coil, and fresh brushes restores full motor power rather than replacing the whole machine.

• Fits: Kirby Avalir Platinum
• Includes: armature, field coil, and two carbon brushes
• Benefit: full motor power restored through a rebuild
• Tip: professional installation is recommended for this repair

The kit installs in place of the worn motor components during a full rebuild. Confirm your Kirby model before ordering, and have the work done by a technician comfortable with motor service.
