The NSS Mustang 17DS 17-Inch Dual-Speed Floor Machine 5906631 combines the maneuverability of a 17-inch floor machine with the flexibility of 180/300 RPM dual-speed operation.

The lower speed is intended for more aggressive procedures such as scrubbing and stripping, while the higher speed is useful for polishing and carpet bonnet cleaning.

This version is configured specifically for 220–240V electrical service.

220–240V Electrical Configuration

Model 5906631 is designed for 220–240V electrical service.

This makes it appropriate for facilities equipped with a compatible higher-voltage power supply.

Always verify that the available outlet, circuit, and electrical service match the machine requirements before use.

Dual-Speed 180/300 RPM Operation

The defining feature of the Mustang 17DS is its two-speed operation.

The operator can switch between:

• 180 RPM for scrubbing, stripping, and general low-speed floor care

• 300 RPM for polishing and carpet bonnet cleaning

This allows one machine to cover a wider range of maintenance procedures than a traditional single-speed floor machine.

1.5 HP Commercial Motor

The Mustang 17DS uses a 1.5 HP / 1100-watt motor.

The heavy-duty motor provides dependable power for repeated commercial applications ranging from aggressive stripping to routine polishing.

17-Inch Working Width

The Mustang 17DS uses a 17-inch working width.

This size provides a useful balance between productivity and maneuverability, especially in hallways, classrooms, offices, patient rooms, retail spaces, and other areas where a larger 20-inch machine may be less practical.

Precision-Balanced Design

The Mustang is precision balanced to help provide smooth, predictable handling.

Proper balance helps the operator guide the machine from side to side with less effort during extended floor-maintenance procedures.

Powder-Coated Steel Skirt

A powder-coated steel skirt surrounds the machine base.

This helps protect the machine during repeated commercial use around walls, fixtures, furniture, and other obstacles.

Mechanical Safety Lock-Out

A mechanical lock-out switch helps prevent accidental machine startup.

This provides an added measure of safety during setup, handling, transportation, and storage.

Quiet Commercial Operation

The Mustang operates at approximately 58 dB(A).

Its relatively low sound level can be useful in schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and other environments where cleaning may take place during occupied hours.

The NSS Mustang 17DS is well suited for:

• Schools and universities

• Hospitals and healthcare facilities

• Office buildings

• Retail stores
