The VIPER ROS1300-255 combines a wide sweeping path, large debris capacity, and powered ride-on operation with a complete 255Ah AGM battery package and onboard charging system.

Its sealed AGM battery configuration is a good fit for facilities that want reduced day-to-day battery maintenance compared with flooded wet-cell batteries.

255Ah AGM Battery Package Included

This configuration includes 255Ah AGM batteries for the ROS1300’s 24V electrical system.

AGM batteries use sealed construction and do not require routine watering, making them a convenient choice for facilities that want lower battery-maintenance requirements.

Onboard Charger

The ROS1300-255 includes an onboard battery charger.

Because the charger remains installed on the sweeper, routine charging can be performed without transporting or storing a separate shelf charger.

Wide Sweeping Path

The ROS1300 provides:

• 27.6-inch main sweeping width without side brooms

• Approximately 53.1-inch working width with both side brooms

The package is marketed as a 51-inch-class ride-on sweeper, while the published technical specifications list a maximum two-side-broom working width of approximately 53.1 inches.

Dual Side Brooms Included

Both the right and left side brooms are included.

The side brooms help pull debris inward from:

• Walls

• Curbs

• Racking

• Building perimeters

• Parking-area edges

• Aisle boundaries

Side-broom speed is adjustable to help match performance to different sweeping conditions.

34.3-Gallon Hopper

The ROS1300 includes a large 34.3-gallon debris hopper.

This capacity helps reduce the number of stops required for emptying when cleaning expansive facilities.

One-Touch™ Operation

VIPER’s One-Touch™ control simplifies startup by engaging the main sweeping functions together.

The system activates:

• Main broom

• Side brooms

• Vacuum fan

This helps streamline operation and reduce repetitive setup steps.

DustGuard™ Dust-Control System

The ROS1300 features VIPER’s DustGuard™ system, which sprays a fine mist around the side brooms to help suppress dust.

This is especially useful in dusty environments such as:

• Warehouses

• Parking structures

• Manufacturing facilities

• Loading areas

• Industrial spaces

Rear-Wheel Traction

The ROS1300 uses rear-wheel traction to provide powered movement.

Rear-wheel drive helps support productive sweeping over large areas and on suitable facility ramps and inclines.

16% Working Gradeability

Published specifications list approximately 16% working gradeability.

This allows the machine to operate on certain sloped areas and ramps when used within manufacturer guidelines.

Foot-Operated Front Flap

A foot pedal allows the operator to raise the front flap when larger debris is encountered.

This helps the sweeper collect bulkier material that might otherwise be pushed ahead of the machine.

High-Productivity Sweeping

VIPER publishes performance with two side brooms at approximately:

• 87,187 sq. ft./hr. theoretical

• 61,031 sq. ft./hr. actual

Actual productivity will vary depending on:

• Facility layout

• Debris conditions

• Machine speed

• Battery condition

• Hopper-emptying frequency

• Obstacles

• Surface condition

• Operator technique

Up to 5 MPH

The ROS1300 has a published maximum speed of approximately 5 MPH.

This supports efficient sweeping and transport throughout large commercial and industrial facilities.

Electrical Filter Shaker

The integrated electrical filter shaker helps remove accumulated dust from the filtration system.

Routine filter cleaning helps maintain airflow and dust-control performance.

Adjustable Operator Position

The ride-on design allows the operator to remain seated throughout large cleaning routes.

The seat can be adjusted to improve comfort for different operators.

Tool-Free Routine Maintenance

The ROS1300 is designed to simplify common maintenance tasks so operators can spend more time sweeping and less time performing daily service.

Professional Applications

The VIPER ROS1300-255 is well suited for:

• Warehouses

• Manufacturing facilities

• Distribution centers

• Parking structures

• Airports

• Transportation facilities

• Shopping centers

• Large retail facilities

• Schools and universities

• Industrial buildings

• Loading docks

• Large garages

• Commercial cleaning contractors

• Large indoor hard-surface areas
