Automatic Height Adjustment

One of the defining features of the Automatic X4 is that you don’t have to manually adjust the brush height when moving between different flooring types.

An electronic controller continuously monitors the resistance of the brush roller against the floor and automatically raises or lowers the cleaning head as needed.

Two green indicator lights show when the machine is adjusting upward or downward. When both lights are off, the brush roller has reached its optimal cleaning position.

The system can even compensate for normal brush wear over time, helping maintain effective carpet agitation as the brush ages.

Built-In Protection System

The Automatic X4 actively monitors several operating conditions to help protect the vacuum.

If the filter bag becomes full, airflow is restricted by a clog, or the filtration system becomes excessively dirty, the Bag Full or Clog warning light illuminates.

If the condition continues, the vacuum can automatically shut down after approximately 30 seconds to help prevent overheating and motor damage.

If an obstruction jams the brush roller, the vacuum also shuts down to help protect the motor, belt, carpet, and whatever object may have been accidentally picked up.

Brush Condition Monitoring

The X4 helps you know when the brush roller itself needs attention.

When the brush bristles become worn enough to reduce cleaning effectiveness, the red Check Brush indicator remains illuminated during use.

The brush roller can then be removed without tools, making it easy to clean away wrapped hair and string or replace the roller when necessary.
