The SEBO Automatic X8 is built for customers who want the intelligence and convenience of SEBO’s Automatic X platform with a wider cleaning head for faster coverage.

Its 15-inch power head provides a 14.5-inch cleaning path, allowing you to cover more flooring with each pass than the 12-inch X7 Premium. That makes the X8 especially well suited for larger rooms, open floor plans, and homes with significant amounts of carpet.

Like the X7 Premium, the X8 uses true automatic height adjustment to continuously monitor brush resistance and raise or lower the power head for optimal cleaning. It also includes an LED headlight, large 1.4-gallon filter bag, tightly sealed S-Class filtration, a 40-foot power cord, and SEBO’s built-in warning and protection systems.

Unlike the X7 Premium, the X8 uses one automatic brush-agitation mode rather than the X7 Premium’s selectable two-mode system. The tradeoff is a significantly wider cleaning head designed to help you clean large areas more efficiently.

Wide 15-Inch Power Head

The 15-inch power head is the defining feature that separates the Automatic X8 from the X7 Premium.

Its wider design provides a 14.5-inch cleaning path, allowing you to cover more floor with every pass.

That can make a noticeable difference when cleaning large carpeted rooms, hallways, offices, and open living areas where a wider vacuum can reduce the number of passes needed to finish the job.

Two-Sided Edge Cleaning

The X8 provides edge-cleaning capability on both sides of the power head.

That makes it easier to clean close to baseboards, walls, furniture, and other edges regardless of which direction you’re moving through the room.

Combined with the wider cleaning head, this helps the X8 cover large spaces efficiently without sacrificing cleaning along room edges.

LED Headlight

The X8 includes an LED headlight built into the power head.

It illuminates the floor directly in front of the vacuum, making dust, pet hair, crumbs, and other debris easier to see underneath furniture, along baseboards, and in rooms with lower lighting.

Automatic Height Adjustment

The X8 automatically adjusts itself to the floor beneath it.

An electronic controller continuously measures resistance at the spinning brush roller and signals the power head to move upward or downward as needed.

Two green indicator lights show when the machine is adjusting. When both lights are off, the brush roller has reached its optimal cleaning position.

The system also compensates for normal brush wear over time, helping maintain proper floor contact as the brush ages.

Built-In Protection System

The Automatic X8 actively monitors several operating conditions to help protect the vacuum.

If the filter bag becomes full, airflow becomes restricted by a clog, or filtration requires attention, a warning light alerts you to the problem.

If an obstruction jams the brush roller, the vacuum automatically stops the brush and shuts the machine down to help protect the motor, belt, carpet, and object that may have been accidentally picked up.

Brush Condition Monitoring

The X8 helps you know when the brush roller needs attention.

If the brush bristles become excessively worn, the Check Brush indicator remains illuminated during use.

The brush roller can then be removed without tools, making it easy to clean away wrapped hair and string or replace the roller when necessary.

Keeping the brush in good condition helps maintain effective carpet agitation and cleaning performance.

Stationary-Use Protection

When the X8 is locked in its upright position, the power head automatically raises itself to help lift the spinning brush roller away from the floor.

If the brush still remains in contact with carpeting, the Check Brush light warns you.

This is especially useful on very high-pile carpeting and helps reduce the possibility of leaving the spinning brush in one place for too long.

Designed for Carpet and Hard Floors

A replaceable sealing strip behind the brush roller helps concentrate airflow at floor level.

On hard floors, this helps pull dirt and debris into the vacuum while reducing debris kickback.

Combined with automatic height adjustment, the system allows the X8 to transition between carpeting and bare floors without requiring a separate cleaning head.

Hospital-Grade S-Class Filtration

The X8 uses SEBO’s tightly sealed multi-stage S-Class filtration system to help keep fine dust inside the vacuum.

Air passes through the filter bag, pre-motor filtration, and exhaust filtration before returning to the room.

Because the system is sealed, airflow is directed through the filtration system instead of leaking around gaps in the vacuum housing.

For customers wanting upgraded filtration, the X8 is also compatible with SEBO’s optional HEPA Service Box.

Instant-Use Hose and Wand

Above-floor cleaning is always within reach.

Remove the wand or hose directly from the vacuum to clean furniture, stairs, baseboards, corners, vents, and other areas the upright cleaning head can’t reach.

Used together, the hose and wand provide approximately 8 feet of cleaning reach.

Optional extension hoses and additional SEBO attachments are also available for customers who want even greater reach or specialized cleaning tools.

40-Foot Cleaning Range

The X8 includes a 40-foot power cord, allowing you to clean large areas without constantly unplugging and searching for another outlet.

The combination carrying handle and rotating cord hook also lets you release the cord quickly when you’re ready to begin cleaning.

Low-Profile Design

The Automatic X8 can recline to approximately 6 inches high, allowing the vacuum to reach underneath many beds and other pieces of furniture.
